Media commentary, interviews and opinion pieces

Besides my experience as a journalist, and because of my expertise on contemporary Africa–China relations, East Asian politics and disinformation, I am often asked to provide commentary for radio and television on a range of issues. I have appeared on leading radio and television outlets in Catalonia and Spain, and my work has featured in international news organisations such as the BBC, CNN, The New York Times, The Economist and Japan’s Yomiuri Shimbun. I have also written opinion pieces for online and print media, mostly on contemporary Japan, China and disinformation. Below is a selection of these contributions over the years.
